You're probably correct - that sounds right to me.
If it had options to randomly cut out or bleed sound from a separate path like something else on the same channel it could imitate other, earlier, wireless systems too.

In my case, I had to lower input sensitivity with my American ASAT Special.
I'm with ya! Then I'll have it on both my Axe III and FM9! Really cool feature even though I'll still use one of the 3 Monkeys 4x12 cabs tons of the time unless it makes the final cut in Dyna Cab!
