I can let Fractal worry about the "bits and bytes" while still exercising free speech and exchange of ideas.
Not quite.

Free speech doesn’t exist in privately-owned buildings or on privately-owned property, or, in this case, forums. You are entitled to say anything you want in front of, or in, government and publicly-owned buildings or their forums.

The owners of private buildings and forums have the right to censor speakers and speech all they want since they’re paying for it. Forum Rules spells It out.

I find in todays atmosphere those who decide what is permissible and what is not have no consistency in their logic and becomes very fascistic quickly. In fact those who want to control speech don’t believe in “private” anything. So somewhere there is a major disconnect. I think it’s called cognitive dissonance.

I agree with this, but let's chill.

He's talking about FM3 bugs that are 100% benign. I don't think it warrants a clarification on Constitutional free speech.

Yup, and in Canada we have laws against hate speech that trumps "free speech".

Yes, I believe so. I would have to go find the bug report specifics. Does it matter?

Because I hadn't seen the report and I'm curious if it was specific to Beta or not?

If it's on regular v5 as you said, it still doesn't seem like a widespread issue, but certainly important. I'm sure they're looking into it.

Thanks for taking me so literally. I'll be sure to keep anything I write from now on strictly within the confines of deferential fanboi discourse.

I edited my previous post. I have noticed that the the time it takes to go from the FM3 display until the boot progress starts is different and sometimes longer than others. I have not had it completely fail and have to restart the unit, but it is a bit concerning. I don’t know if it has something to do with what preset is being booted into or something completely different. IE: CPU load. I have experimented with booting into various presets and even empty preset and it doesn’t seem to make any difference. Yes, they are looking into it as per the link I posted.
