Riverdogs from the !st album, the single, "Toy Soldier" and the albums epic closer, "America." Rob Lamothe's killer voice/songs with Vivian Campbell.
What a great band that also got "grunged." Talk about bad timing.

A few of these did great acting perforances I recall: ie: Dwight Yoakam in "Slingblade", Cher in many movies of course but I'm thinking of "Mask" in particular. A fav of mine is Steven Van Zandt (E Street Band) who did a fantastic job playing Silvio Danté in The Sopranos with no prior acting experience.
They had a lot of great ones but this is my favorite.
Yeah, we did the same thing. It was fun playing Heart, Pat Benatar, and songs that were out of our vocal range, but she was hot, and 3 guys in the band were elbowing each other to become more than bandmates with Sevesty (what a name!), and it tore the band apart. One of the first bands I played in after getting out of the military in my
early 20s was fronted by a woman and we played that song. It was literally
my favourite song to play in the band. So. Much. Fun.
