"Die to live" by Steve Vai - played on Ultra Firmware 11 Youtube

Great vid and great tone. I really like the tone, you said this is based on a Mard Day Solo patch from axe-change. I've found it but it sound different (i've tweaked a lot to eliminate all the muddy and flubby in order to match this patch to my gear. I use a jem with evos', axe ultra and a pair of studio monitor. Please can you share with us this patch? I'm curious to learn from you what you have tweaked to obtain this sound.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I pretty much only played with the gain, treble and master volume of marks patches... will upload my vai patch once I find the time to hook the axe up to my computer! cheers guys!

Excellent playing and tone! And the improv stuff was very cool...I do weekly improv jams and there's a lot to be said for just going for it for 90 minutes live!!! Kudos!
