Wish Cab Manager shows a list of the presets to which a particular UserCab is connected to

As known, in a preset the Axe stores only the UserCab-Number and not the Cab itself or its name. So even if you have saved and backuped your favorite preset(s), the moment you change or delete a particular UserCab by accident, you may lose saveral fine tweaked presets at once. You may will never find out or remember which Cab was connected to the preset(s) before.

That means it can be very difficult/impossible to order or rearrange your UserCabs in „Axe-Manage Cabs“ because you don't want to destroy your presets.

1. It would be very helpful, if „Axe-Manage Cabs“ highlights connected UserCabs so you know: DON’T TOUCH (red) or NOT USED AT ALL (green). Or better: by clicking on a UserCab it shows you a list of all presets to which it is connected to. So you’re able to writing it down and handle the changes manually in the presets.

2. To think it even further: Axe-Edit could warn you if you deleting or re-positioning a Cab which is linked to one or more presets. It could also ask you if you want to safe the new UserCab-Number in all of the involved presets.

Maybe we will find here even better ways to solve this problem.
Some of us also discussed it before: http://forum.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-ii-user-cabs-irs/84312-figure-out-usercab-linked-preset.html

Love the idea of clicking on a cab and having that show the list of presets a cab is used in. That would really make it so much easier to navigate what can be a tricky process. The old Axe-Edit had some sort of feature that you could at least see a list of the presets and what cabs were being used--not quite as slick as what you're suggesting, but even that would be helpful...Hope they can address this,--with all the Ultra Rez files coming out a lot us are doing some major revamping, and this would really be a help....

+1 for amps and cabs

Small # on upper right corner for # of presets the amp/cab is used in
On mouse hover, a popup shows the list of presets the amp/cab is used in

the old axe manage showed a list of every preset, with the amps and cabs used in each one, so it's definitely possible. some sort of "reporter" that would generate a list of presets and then give you the ability to order them by amp type or cab type would be handy. if it was generated as part of the backup process, maybe? i'm just trying to think of a way of showing quite a lot of detailed information in a quick and easy way. a csv file?

+1 for that, I also requested, in another thread, the possibility of sorting presets by cab used, like it was possible with the old Axe-Manage
