You could still load it and trim it down until it fits.Awesome for sharing! Could someone modify and post it here so it can be used on orig FM9?

ok, i don't have seen this comment, thanks a lot!!!In the comment section of the YouTube video Cooper mentions that they used a usb to cat5 to usb to span the distance as the rig is on stage
Just tried it again and it did not freeze on me. It maxed out the CPU for sure though. However, removal of one of the (dual) cab blocks brought the CPU usage down to a manageable 76%. I have attached it here for you. Not sure how much it changed the sound though.I always get concerned when I load a preset on the FM9, and it's in the warning/danger zone.
Infact one time I had the FM9 freeze when I did that. Friend of mine froze his FAS product and lost his presets - had to revert to backups.
I haven't loaded this preset on the FM9 yet, so since it's reportedly overloaded, figured I'd see if someone would be willing to adjust it so us FM9 owners don't run the risk of freezing the FM9.
This sounds nothing like it.
Just a wall of mud to me
What are you guys using for guitars and listening setup?
This is pretty spot on on my end!
Axe Fx 3, 3 different Strats, Headphones.
Hi, i have seen in this video from britfloyd
that the sound ingeneer has his pc with axe edit with him at the desk, and the preamps are on stage. How doing this, not usb cable for sure!
maybe there is a laptop at the axe, which is remotely operated by another laptop at the desk?
@Cooper Carter will know.
Don't know how they do that, and don't want to disturb @Cooper Carter with that!
JBL LSR6332 pair. I'm not saying the tones presented here are bad, they're not. Totally usable. I'm just saying that they don't sound anything like the original recordings to me. Especially the one above from G66. It's not even in the same ballpark. In all fairness, this is not an easy tone to duplicate. I've tried to duplicate a lot of tones over the years, and this was one of the hardest to nail convincingly. I never have been totally satisfied with my own efforts. But it's good to try, and to share the results. So Props to those who are doing so.What are you guys using for guitars and listening setups?
You wanted it, now here it is. The mother of all Gilmour leads. Preset at the link in video description.
1) Go to YouTube.Sorry for my ignorance, Cooper- I cannot find the preset![]()
where did you find it? I still haven't....I cannot find the preset anywhere what does preset at the video description mean? What video description link? I'm very excited to try this out

See the post just above this one.where did you find it? I still haven't....![]()
I'm not sure that is the goal for this tone, although it may be what you were hoping for. I think the idea is to utilize the current technology to give an excellent approximation of the live Gilmour tone that works in today's modern setting, and something that plays really well within the band's live mix. YMMV.JBL LSR6332 pair. I'm not saying the tones presented here are bad, they're not. Totally usable. I'm just saying that they don't sound anything like the original recordings to me. Fair enough. For me, the goal of a Comortably Numb lead preset is to recreate that iconic tone to the smallest detail, as if what I am playing was an alternate take from the record. I have no interest whatsoever in an approximation that works in today's modern setting. Unfortunately, that's the best I've come up with so far. Even a tone match doesn't quite get me there. Close, but no cigar. Since my band dropped the song, I've quit chasing it.I'm not sure that is the goal for this tone, although it may be what you were hoping for. I believe it was based on David Gilmour’s live tone specifically from the 1994 tour, which sounds quite different than the album version.Fair enough.
