Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 10.02

i'm not saying anything, but wander around Merthyr for a few hours on a saturday night and you might wonder if there aren't quite a few people having a stroke. (don't quote me on that.)

Heck, I usually wonder that about people from northern New England when they talk....

Agree with all the comments, just amazing - I took a punt (for me) getting the III, I'd just got into modelling from a lifetime of tubes - had the AX8 for under a year when the III was announced.

I decided better to be an early adopter and get maximum benefits - got one of the first in Europe and couldn't be more happy, amazing the improvements we've seen over the summer - and it really does keep getting better and better.

Prior to 10 I would spend a lot of time picking IR s and blending them, not any more - much more character coming through, and the IR is much more a finisher than a completer.

And I keep discovering more amps - the Orange Rockerverb and Tiny Terror with the free YA Orange Cab, wow - who knew?

Fairly new user here..
I don't see anything different in the tuner.
I wanted to check out that new Downtune Control feature.
I just saw the 10.2 Firmware update today... downloaded and installed it...
I updated the AXE-EDIT interface as well...
I believe I was on firmware nine point something...
Could it be because I skipped 10 & 10.1 and went right to 10.2?
Seems unlikely.. but as I mentioned, I'm still learning my way around.

I feel for William though, he's had one on order for 18 months now.
