I'm curious what the use case for having VC on but not using any shift would be? Would that be case of Cliff saying "Don't do that"?

Added a clip.

First half is Virtual Capo on, riff and wiggle, second half is Virtual Capo off, riff and wiggle.

Why use the virtual capo if you aren't going to shift the pitch? Turn it off.

I like to have it attached to different modifiers and sometimes it needs to be at 0 for a moment.

It's always been like this. Make it go into bypass when you're at 0.

Boss HM2, omg! My very first decent dist pedal, back in 1986 :

Yeah, that's me, military service in the French army, in December 1986. Tokai comp, Boss HM2, Boss Flanger, and the very first Ibanez Digital delay, with which I discovered the joy of dotted eighth delays (hello Pink Floyd "Another brick in the wall pt 1"). I still have that octopus like power supply, but not that Stagg Les Paul, nor my hairs (not that they were very long the army).
I remember liking to set the bass on 10, middle on 0 with the HM2.

EDIT : the download link isn't working for me, I guess Cliff found a bug and is fixing it ? I just rushed out of bed (it's not even 7 am here) to download this
