Axe-Fx III Firmware 26.00 Public Beta

Just sat and played the Vibroverb AB today learning the correct way to play Riviera Paradise (learning is key here)…and holy shit I lost an afternoon because I was just lost in how amazing it was.
Vibroverb AB - believe it’s an Ownhammer VV IR - Studio Spring…

I hard tailed my strat, so I’m gettknf no love with the trem bar…

I have your presets w/ DynaCabs and it is bizarre. I can confirm that the only one that ends up being offset is the Orange one. All the other, even the ones after the new Steath are fine.. but the Orange preset is not updating properly for some reason..
Ha!

Are the highs not a little...shall we say forward? I do think it's an improvement, but the very top end sounds like digital distortion occasionally.
Funny you should say that because to my ears, at least in the heavier gain tones, the effect is exactly the opposite. The high end is a lot more pleasing, almost as if there's already a Low Pass at 14k or so built into the tones. Here's a quick A/B between my main high gain rhythm tone (using the CCV 2B):

The first half is 25.04, and the second is 26.00beta. Levels have been normalised for all tracks in my DAW to avoid any Fletcher-Munson funkiness, and both takes are re-amps of the same (kinda sloppy) double-tracked DI recording.

So should the Grid Bias realy be at 75% ? If you turn it to arround 50% it sounds more clearer without this bad distortion.
If i try other Tubes with 75% Grid Bias, the distortion changes drastically until to self oscillation with the "6CA7 AMP" Type. The "6CA7 JJ" Type has no self oscillation and sounds clean which i think is realy strange!
The default grid Bias is at 75% and it's really noisy ! 50% make the amp more quiet ! Thx @Petrocelli !

I had a jitter/clock problem when turning on my AFX3 today, bypass signal (Input 1 -> SPDIF) sounded like a buzzy distortion with volume jumps.
I don't recall hearing that kind of distortion before.
Restart fixed it.

Hi end sounds much more natural on this amp at least

Sounds great! Can you post the name of the IR? I have those OH and I don’t recall getting that tone from the VV AB.

Installed without issues. I haven't had a chance to kick the tires much on anything that's changed, but everything seems table.
