Thanx on the Kudos for the Jackson, it is a Shredder indeed! But tell me you guys got the Joke, right? ...next to my "Tele"...?
It does this on the transformer preamp type setting tooI suspect it's an old problem. I played with Cabinet -> Preamp -> Preamp Type and occasionally changed the preamp type (at a high saturation of 6), and suddenly there was a loud bang in the speaker. Not good for my ears. E.g. changing from Vintage to Tape 35us sometimes seems to lead to the bang if it was playing beforehand. I think that when changing the type, the output has to be deactivated in the firmware code first.
Don't play while changing the setting. It's been discussed before and there are some things that can produce artifacts if changed while playing. These settings usually have no option to assign a modifier because of that.I suspect it's an old problem. If this is the solution, please add a bang warn message for my ears healthDon't play while changing the setting. It's been discussed before and there are some things that can produce artifacts if changed while playing. These settings usually have no option to assign a modifier because of that.
Here is my Telly contribution.

Isn't it rather off-topic to post a photo without a Telecaster???![]()
I need to check tomorrow but I think for me switching to the transformer preamp pops when not playing.Don't play while changing the setting. I have that same exact 513 in the same color. Yours is the only other one I’ve seen. I love that guitar! My PRS 513 make the job.![]()
I move that all the tele-vangelists (and others not posting relevant FW26 info) be blocked from participating in future FW threads until they can understand the basics of forum topic participation! I know very well how to scroll by stupidity, but I should not have to when there are so many more appropriate places to brag about your preferred guitar. STFU in this thread if you have nothing to say about FW 26 pb1. Thank you in advance for your complete cooperation on this request!
You just wrote "tele" three times on the forum, so one should have materialized somewhere in your appartment/house. But maybe it's inside the walls or underneath the floorboards... just take a cautious look.Reminder to self… NEVER ask to see one’s tele, talk about teles, or even mention the name tele!![]()

Yeah... There are also some parameters the do things like that as well. I've experienced that as well with that parameter... But it's not very loud.I need to check tomorrow but I think for me switching to the transformer preamp pops when not playing.
