Axe-Fx III Firmware 22.00 Release

Nothing mentioned in the release notes about the install procedure even though a couple of people have said "see the release notes". If it's still a two step procedure it should be clarified in the original post and release notes. I never installed the beta so I'm sitting here a little reluctant to install until there's some confirmation from Fractal. I remember the beta threads mentioning it but unless I'm completely blind (possible), this one says nothing about a two step process. Did it change or not?

See the Dynacab Installation Guide.

The Dyna-Cab installation process is included in the Firmware download as a PDF.

My dynacab drop down list is completely empty. Any ideas? I've done the installation a second time and no change.
Did you follow the instructions in both Readme files?

Which file did you install twice? Both the firmware AND the Dynacab file?

Have you updated Edit and allowed it to "Refresh After New Firmware"?

Those Revv models....

Excited to try out the hartke dynacabs for bass. I was a bit surprised to see two hartke cabs given there are no hartke amps, so these two cabs must have some particular quality that made fractal want to add them over choosing a paired cab for one of the amp models already in the unit.

Yes - followed the instructions. Firmware update first, got the warning about Dyna-Cab data not installed, pressed exit, installed the Dyna-Cab .syx file, rebooted. Have done it twice and same result. Drop down list is empty....

I found the refresh option on Edit and that fixed it! Thank you so much. Will be a fun weekend trying this out!!

Go to your axe edit 3 screen go to settings at the top and go down to refresh after new firmware click that and you should see the Dyna cabs

Revv is a great amp. Sort of a Marshall/SLO vibe but more open. Really well designed and built.
I would really love to have the aggression switches in the preamp section. Also which Revv Gen120 is it?
The second mark/third mark?
The third mark Have amazing modes and the green channel as well

Hahahah I didn't even realize what they were. Definitely gotta check these out!

Great stuff! Like many it only took me a few minutes to find sounds that were better to my ears than what I have been using so far!! For anybody out there as lost as me when it comes to micing a guitar cabinet (and where to position the mic), here is an article from Sweetwater that breaks down some basics to get what you are looking for (although the "angle the mic" option is not available for Dyna Cabs at this point):

If anybody has other references or advice on mic placements for guitar cabs, I am all ears ;~))
