Legacy Axe-FX II: SRV - Little Wing FW11 (SECOND ATTEMPT)

Listened to both of your takes on this. Both great playing, but yes, this one sounds better with the different IR. The louder sections are just screaming!! You can really make that thing cry. Smokin' playing, Tyler. Awesome job!! This song always makes me wanna pick up my Strat and wail. But then I do, and I'm quickly humbled. LOL

Rad, definitely one of the better attempts at this tone/style. Is your strat setup with big strings/high action?

Impressive playing and super nice patch as well :) You really caught the feel from mr SRV
and that's something 9 out of 10 wannabe srv guitarist don't (including myself .. lol)
awesome!

I really like your vibrato as well :)

Oh yeah ! Don't eat your heart out ! Great recording and would be lucky if I could do half of that.. Regarding the sound, to my personal feeling I miss a very tiny bit of "bite" in the clean parts (maybe a tiny bit more depth or disto to the chorus ? idunno), but holy shit you nail the song.

Wow, nice work! .. oddly enough, this is what I'd been working recently, but you nailed it way better than I did.

If you get a moment check out "Catch The Rainbow" by Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. There's a more than a few similarities ... I've never quite been able to get the sound of Ritchies guitar on that one, its all sparkly and floaty with little champagne bubbles .... I suspect a Roland Space Echo is to blame ...
