From the release notes : Added “Force Default Version” parameter to Global menu. When set to On this forces a preset to use the selected Default Modeling Version upon recall.

BTW: Is your Axe Edit still displaying you 5.01 instead of 5.02 even though the utility menu displays 5.02 Firmware? I did refresh the Axe Edit, but that did nothing to fix this rather miniscule little bug.

I CHANGED THE SPEAKER SIZE TO 1.875 AND HOLY COW..

I can't find a parameter for speakersize - did you mean the Room Size?

I went back and forth a few times between 5.0 and 5.02, and so far I prefer 5.0 by quite a bit with my main patches. The notes were a little sweeter or something in 5.0. They don't sound quite as beautiful to me when they decay in 5.02. The notes in 5.0 had an almost 3D magical quality and they were so smooth. At least for the Hook, Friedman and Fryette I tested. Maybe I need to rebuild my patches. Anyone else notice this?

Maybe I will try again tomorrow I probably have ear fatigue from playing all day anyway.

No i find 5.02 to be incredible , and better than 5,especially with interaction with new drives

First of all: THANKS for 2 very quick update releases!

The following is not 100% clear (for me) with FW Q5.02:

- Properly installed the new FW 5.02
- I did do a REFRESH after FW installation
- I checked the release notes, but could not find this kind of info...

My presets seem to be are already on latest (as I started from scratch with Q5)

1. Do I need to a RESET on ANY blocks to have FW5.02 working correctly for all my PRESETS?
2. And preferably doing so without losing all my SETTINGS from Q5 presets?

I flashed this and the Utility menu says it is Quantum 5.02 but Axe-Edit reports it is Quantum 5.01

That's just the version reported to Axe-Edit. If the Utility menu says 5.02 you're all set.
