AX-8 10.00 Release Candidate #2

How long does it usually take for a Beta candidate to become official at this stage? Can’t wait to try it but I’m a new user and probably won’t be able to help much with the testing until I get more familiar with the normal operation of the AX8.
 
Dear FAS, I believe this is the one!!! I said that about RC1, because I didn't encounter any issues with it personally. However, others did. In this take on the firmware, there seems to be no issues, so let me leave my 2 cents here: You've done an outstanding job and we are all grateful for your hard work. I will be gigging this new firmware tonight and this week, so thank you again, FAS. I look forward to the official update!! I'm certain I speak for everyone when I say thank you, your hard work is acknowledged and appreciated beyond measure. BRB while I jam on my AX8 for like ever.
 
Yes... This RC #2 seems to be the good one. Playing with it since 1 hour and everything works perfectly.
The tones are outstanding with this 10.0, the BE100 was my fav' amp, but I have to admit the new BE 100 C45 is sooooo good too.

There's a problem with LFO 1 speed when set to e.g. 1/4 and LFO 2 is set to none. It starts with with a doubled speed and first needs changing to another divider then back to 1/4 to be ok again. Unfortunately next time I load the preset I have to redo this procedure. I changed my preset to set LFO 2 to 1/4th as well and everything is fine.

Edit: Funny. Saving the preset to another bank (39-1) and using it from there fixes the issue. Copying it back to the original preset number (30-1) makes it come back.

There is no “usually.” It’s done when it’s done.

Don’t sweat it. Update when you’re ready. :)

I've been too busy to update to the first one. Right on time for the BEST one ! Thanks the beta team , and to all the guys giving feedback , to help straighten out the bugs too. Wooh !!!
 
Funky issue installing 10.00 RC 2.

Ten seconds into the installation, Fractal-Bot reported "File transfer complete." But the progress bar on the front panel is still making progress...

Just installed and didn't encounter that issue.

The file transfer and installation proceeded without a hitch, despite Fractal-Bot's claim of early file transfer. :)
