Why? They're strong, stable, & reliable what else could you want?I hated those stands.....

Well, that's kinda like saying, why don't the major modeler heavyweights (Line6, Boss, Digitech, etc) don't do it like Fractal Audio...
Besides there are pro audio companies that do:
Coax speaker vs woofer/tweeter for AxFx FRFR - Page 2 - The Gear Page
I'd say the Cubes scream for a solution such as this;
rs7000 | On-Stage Stands
In fact I've already got a pair waiting for a pair of Jay's cubes. You can see what it would look like here;

I don't get it. Why wouldn't you want wedges so you can do away with the stands?
(OT.. what up with the foot controller up on a stand?)
IIRC Robboman has limited use of his feet/legs and does his patch switching with his hands.(OT.. what up with the foot controller up on a stand?)

Like I think someone else mentioned; a "shootout" between the RCF NX-12SMA and the Atomic CLR would be great! (a job for Scott Peterson maybe..?) Does anyone know the frequency response specs for the CLR?
I'd put my money on the Jaytomic, and the QC issues with those RCF's seem scary to me, specially considering its price range.Like I think someone else mentioned; a "shootout" between the RCF NX-12SMA and the Atomic CLR would be great! Robboman said:The quick A/B you guys did with the QSC K10 has a serious shortcoming.. you were comparing the QSC internal class D amp/dsp to a Crown amp powering the passive Atomic, right? I'd expect the Crown power to sound much better.
I'm looking fwd to more 'shootout' reviews in future, esp against the co-axial FBT Verve 12ma that was all the rage at one point.
This is what's interesting but confusing about Atomic, the company. They used to fill a valid niche that made sense. Back when real guitarists were starting to use modellers Atomic had the first (non-FR) Reactors designed to address all the inherent shortcomings of the old Pods, etc. Tube power to help them not sound so 'digital'. It made sense at the time, filled a void. No one else was doing it.
Are these fairly sturdy? One of these would be great to mount my rack on.
