Thanks for the reply guys. I wired my rooms about 12 years ago when the house was built so have a bad feeling I just used cheap CAT 5 at the time so prob not shielded cable. It is a direct straight run from my office RJ45 wall panel (4 connections) where the Axe III is to the living room x...

Purchased a female and male set of these so will see what happens when I get back from holiday https://www.thomann.de/gb/the_sssnake_cat_snake_3fb.htm I note in one of the reviews somebody said they got phantom power out of them so maybe it will work with the FC controllers but we will see...

Thanks for that! My plan would be to use my FC12 for both rooms (simply unplug it and move into living room) but I guess its the TRS over RJ45 that may be the problem for control of the FC-12. Seems audio no problem

Thanks for the info!! Input is no problem as I have wireless etc. Looks like Faslink is the stumbling block to control my presets. I thought might have been a audio / TRS combo RJ45 solution but I guess maybe not

I have my Axe FX-III in my small office hooked up to my Studio Monitors. I was thinking of buying a FM9 Turbo for my very large living room (also with monitors) however both rooms have Ethernet connections. Is there a way to use another output from my Axe FX in my office to my RJ45...

Out if interest - since they changed to Axe FX IIIs many years ago etc is Kirk still using the Dunlop Rack wah (as he did with the Axe IIs) or did he finally use the Axe III wah to simplify rig further!

When I'm backing up or down on my FCF-12 my presets are skipping presets in increments of 6 each time in either direction. Anybody able to kindly assist? Im sure its prob a setting somewhere. Ive not dug deep into the controller settings so a bit clueless Many thanks!

Digitech Whammy, who else is a fan?

Of course the Edge and David Gilmour have heavily uswd the whammy On Gilmours last tour his WH-1 broke so he used the V for the rest of the tour and still using it in latest studio pics. The Edge must be a die hard WH-1 user as he always has it in his tour rig despite the other versions

Ive got mine going straight in the front end - not tried pedals in the Axe loop yet to see the difference Funny you mention the Tube Driver - I have not had one for years and from memory thought the Axe 3 sounded good. I will have to borrow a friends to A/B as its been too long

Issue when using Axe-Edit III at same time as Logic

Seems like my Logic problem is fixed now I've updated both Logic X and OS to High Sierra (with the Logic Control Surface Automatic Installation turned off) Very happy - now time to dig in and make presets at the desk!! Woohoo!!!

I sure did. Also tried Aggregate interface and opening in the orders suggested. Im on Sierra (not High Sierra) and not updated Logic X for a year so I will update them both and hopefully that sorts it

How many users are using the Axe III as an Audio Interface?

Due to Logic mines not playing ball using it with USB (Axe Edit times out). Ive tried the diff solutions and work about posted but not working for me in hence using my Apogee quartet interface

Issue when using Axe-Edit III at same time as Logic

Has this been resolved or still need to experiment with specific launch orders? Finally managed to get my first AXE-FX powered up last night, I didn't make it past the presets jamming but did notice Axe Edit III would not communicate but appeared to do so when I quit Logic

Strange post but can anybody confirm 1) The Axe III comes doubled boxed (appears to be by unboxing videos) 2) The dimensions of the smaller second box In a nutshell I am travelling to the US tomorrow and will be bringing one back with me but want to take a correct sized suitcase :)
