What's up with price gouging on used FAS gear?

There's a link on the Fractal site for International Dealers. Didn't think that was a problem, especially given the tons of demo videos on YouTube from all over the world. I think it's just a late reaction and correction to supply/demand principles. If they don't sell, the price will go down.

Sigh......I just upgraded to firmware v9!

Back in the saddle!!! I found that the main difference in the sound of my presets was the effect of the warmth and thump parameters. I spent about an hour tweaking these in my presets, and I am loving my tones once again! Thanks to all that responded to my "stream of consciousness"!

That is exactly the approach I am going to take! I will start with a stock version of each amp, and tweak from there based on what I've learned in the prior configuration.

My FBT Verve 12ma is due in today!

Kinda disappointing discovery

So in configuring my Midi Mate, I found out that in the preset bank of buttons, I cannot program button "0". That's a shame, because I really have exactly five presets that I need to switch between, and I only get to set four. So I figured the way to remedy this was to eliminate my blues lead...

Agreed, but when I had the Carvin DCM150, I was not aware, as my experience with amps were completely in the tube realm. That being my only point of reference, I was terribly disappointed when I started using the Carvin power amp with my Axe FX Standard rig at the time. Simply gutless...

Ahh....Got it. By louder, I assume hotter, which would attribute to the more aggressive tone. Correct? So if I go in and adjust the level of the amp sims, I should be able to compensate for it with no other ill effect? Are there any real benefits to running balanced vs. unbalanced?

I was running my Axe Ultra into my QSC power amp with unbalanced cables, and replaced them today with a pair of Mogami Gold Reference balanced XLR cables (XLR on both ends), and I can swear that it sounds more aggressive. Does this sound strange? I actually like better with unbalanced cables...

Thanks James.....If I place my order, will you be able to ship my pedal with the cable I need? I will go with just the sweep for now, but I wouldn't mind using the switch portion for the tuner on/off if that was something I could configure.

Sorry for the dumb question, but I will have no problem running the SP1-R into the expression port of a midi controller such as a Midi Mate, or Ground Control Pro. Correct? I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger. Also, do I need a special cable, or would any instrument cable do...

Thanks. I ordered the 7 pin Rocktron cable to leverage the phantom power option. Does the the Mid Mate come with a power supply which is directly compatible with the phantom port on the back of the Axe FX, or do I need some sort of adapter? I would hate to find that out after all my toys are...

Wow....I am glad I went with the louder amp then. The RMX850 does 200 watts per channel or 530 watts in bridged mode (8 ohms). I may run it bridged at first and see what the volume is like. It has to be better than my Carvin DCM 150, which was 75 watts per channel in stereo and 150 watts...
