That was my rig back in the 80's. Canadian JCM800, Marshall slanted 4x12, with a Boss grey plastic pedal board with some Boss pedals incl. the OD-1. Fun times!

Many thanks for the cable idea! Installed my fan a few weeks ago but used the cable that came with the Axe. ULN cable made the fan essentially noiseless.

Just an FYI, on my FC-6, the effect function changed to channel select from bypass which threw me for a few minutes. I run mine as effects so it was a quick change back to bypass in Axe-Edit.

Channels versus scenes

I wish the scenes were like snapshots in the Helix, i.e., it also included knob settings. I know this can be done with modifiers in the Axe, but it would be neat if scenes worked this way, IMO.

v10 Presets Seem Harsh to Me - Help?

I've noticed a bug (with axe edit, haven't tested sans axe edit) where if you change to cab Y, the speaker size gets screwed up and drops from the default size of "1.

Am I the only guy who doesn't get 'Dumble'?

For me, it's that smooth overdrive with sustain without tons of gain. As I get older (48) i appreciate this more and more. I have zen drive, and the way it kinda blooms on a note is awesome.

Yes. I actually have it going to preset 25, scene 1, I believe. I understand the concept, just not how to set the rest of the scenes as in the axe it appears to be only 1 at a time programming.

Hi moab, Can you explain this to a midiot? When you say map the scenes to a program number, do you mean IA switches? I have my GCP setup with the 8 IA and 4 presets. I was hoping I could use the 4 presets to access 4 different scenes. Thanks.

Thanks, will try this. From the video I posted and others I've heard (never in person, mind you) what I hear is a thick, darker sound, but with that "chirp" on the high end and sustain without grit.

Just wondering if anyone has tried to get the Dumble sound lately? I'm using the ODS-100 LEAD model with either cabinet E12L stock cabs, but I just can't seem to get "that sound". I haven't tried tone matching yet as I was hoping to get the model closer first. Here is a bludotone...
