The frequency spread for the L1 is very top-end heavy which is why I never liked it for anything other than acoustic and vocals.

Can someone help me out here - isn't the global power amp bypass supposed to bypass all the amps? So if I have a JCM800 patch with a bunch of fx blocks, I select global power amp bypass and all I'm left with is the fx (and cabs which I'd also globally turn off). Mine doesn't do this. I still...

Ground control pro question

Not as many buttons, doesn't display the presets, and likewise doesn't display the tuner. This is mainly because the GCP is a "send only" device (one way communication). It cannot receive info from the AxeFx. You can still do a lot, presets, IAs, input names (separately), tap tempo...

Is this an accurate assumption and valid queston? Why use a stereo cab in lo res if you can just setup 2 cabs in high res? Is it just for those that want 3+ cabs?

Just got my Ground Control, quick question

Hi - I got a ground control two weeks ago and had the same question. Found the answer by messing around. Here's how you do it. 1) have each IA configured to "xmit with preset" 2) hit the buttons that you want to default to "on" and save the preset on the GCP.

Stereo Cabinet

Anyone every give thought to (or use) a single cabinet separate L and R for the 2 speakers? Seems like a cool way to get 3-d sound out of a portable rig. I just bought an empty 2 12 cab and am considering some options. I know there are some out there that have this...

Rocktron 5 to 7 pin cable for daisy chain?

Cool - that idea actually needs to be scrapped though with the GCP b/c it takes 9vac. I'm probably going to just 7pin it and use a battery for my wah pedal.
