careful - 128Samples per Buffer. Normally in a typical signal chain there is a input- AND an output buffer plus processing time. So in reality 128 Samples will make around 8 - 9 ms roundtrip latency

If you only do class compliant - yes then it's true - if you do a custom driver (as everybody else in the audio industry does and FAS does for WIN-user with an ASIO compatible driver) it's still possible on OSX 10.6.8 You guys should read this...

After the first shock i downgraded to 6.00 but then i was unable the recall preset 000.....it seems empty all the time. I re-loaded 6.0.2 and everything except my presets seems to be fine. So i reload my latest backup and most of the tones were back in the machine....except my beautiful Hiwatt...

i had so beautiful cranked up sounding Hiwatt tones.....they all gone now :evil: it has something to do with the tonestack-position for sure. I used middle on almost all of my new preset......if now the axe i'm sick of it that always when we change to a new version something changes that...

Can someone point me to a few strat patches

my "Paco's OD Special FET" Preset is such a thing.....done with an old "made in japan" Strat (the great ones!) with stock PUs 8-)

Finally tried Jay's new IRs from my Celestions I sent him...

i used the 512 versions in my example! They sound great too (at least for me...) @ Ed: Sounds like you're having big fun! Cool! 8-)

using Jay Mitchell's G12-65s cabs....

forgive my sloppy playing, it was just a quick shot, made to proof that they are really something for me as i mentioned before in the Cab & IRs forum. I'll redo with better playing later (hopefully!) in a song enviroment I took the Chorused Echos Preset form Bank A, dial the "USA LEAD 1" tone...

Custom IRs of Celestion Gold and G12-65

Bug in "Excess CPU usage overload" when using 2 compressors

it works fine here under 5.22 on my standart axe.....just gave a shot using both compressors on an exsisting preset of mine, CPU stays at 70% when using both, goes to 67% when using just one! btw...i had a total amount of seven blocks in use when using both comps ;) mmh...strange

just went back from a little try-out in the rehearsal room, got a nice old JCM800 full stack on one side and the Axe over a Valvestate S80 power-amp into a single slanted 1960 Marshal 4x12 cabinet on the other side...just recalled preset "Basic Brit 800" ...man, the other guitarrist was...
