FM3 Firmware Version 3.03 beta 1

Not experiencing any of the bugs mentioned earlier. I am however experiencing major bliss from these new drives. They seem way more dynamic and when you turn the gain up they get really hairy, in a good way, loving it. Fantastic update!

Headphone suggestions

Just an updated, I ended up buying a pair of AKG K371 headphones. I am very happy with them, I think they sound better than my BD DT 880 Pro, just as comfortable and have the features I was missing (straight cable, detachable cable, closed-back).

No worries, i really appreciate the feedback. My theory knowledge is quite basic specially when it comes to how to correctly represent or talk about it. Will add some 13 chords ;) Maybe hard to tell but the Harmonic Minor modes are there at the bottom of the list of scales.

Direct recording from AX8 to Logic pro x

The Ax8 does not transmit any audio through usb. You'll need an audio interface with XLR,Tele, or SPDIF input in order to record the audio. I personally connect my Ax8 to a Focusrite 6i6 via spdif which connects to my computer via USB.

Wish Remove gap in looper when switching presets

When switching between two preset that contain a looper with the looper playing a very noticeable gap, in the sound of the looper, can be heard. This makes it unusable live for me. Would be great if this could be fixed. Thanks /Eric

Seems bank up/down is available but not preset up/down for the foot switches. Would be great to free up the function switches for other things. Would personally make FW 7 and 8 global preset up and down /Eric

Also to add to this. Would be great if the Ax8 screen to be "locked" on the VU screen so changes in Ax8-Edit dont navigate you away from it.

I usually have the Ax8 on the floor next to me while i edit patches in Ax8-Edit on my laptop sitting at my desk. Would be great to be able to switch to the VU screen on the Ax8 from Ax8-Edit, that way i can just look down to check my levels without having to bend down to press multiple buttons...

Yeah I don't expect it to be simple but can hopefully figure out an architecture that will allow easy updates as well as supporting multiple firmware version. I just really want to be able to make changes with just a tablet or phone

Recording using S/PDIF

Are you choosing the correct inputs? spdif = input 5 and 6 I believe, not in front of my computer right now Did you check in the focusrite software that the signal is coming in? Only tried logic though, works fine there with same setup
