Does anyone have a settings recommendation for a talk box simulator on the FX8? I see many references to combinations of Formant and Filter but all those links lead to dead ends as they’re all quite dated. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Steve

Scene Toggles on the FX8

Thanks for the replies...yes I believe the sticky scene is the only option right now..only problem with that is I lose the ability to switch blocks on/off within the preset..oh well...hopefully there'll be an update for this. Thanks again....

Greetings one and all.... So I know that I can assign one of the F-Switches to toggle between scenes 1 & 2 on any given preset, however does anyone know if an F switch can be programmed to toggle between two different scenes within a preset (i.e. 2 & 6)? I've a need to toggle back and forth...

For the love of God people....all these EFFING links are dead ends. Seriously folks?!?! What's so hard about offering clear, concise links to find a simple list of factory presets, which by the way why the hell aren't they included in the manual which has every single conceivable shred of data...

Wish "Invert" the Relay Control?

Fractal tech support says there's nothing you can do about that. Very strange given all the other incredible functionality. I agree...I now know when it's not shaded that I'm engaging my OD channel.

Hey Nick, Sound guy has some pretty decent experience. I'm new to the band and he's used to mixing both guitarists running with no back line whatsoever. The guitarist I replaced was running an AXE-FX direct through the board. So I'm chalking this up to an adjustment curve to some extent...

Awesome....thanks for the advice. I'll play around with it. I've already tweaked a bit since last post and been able to clean it up considerably but haven't had the chance to test it through the rig at gig volume yet. I do like using the OD channel and have kept the gain pretty low (9:00-ish)...

Couldn't agree more...also tweaking the FX8 as I gain more familiarity with it. But sound man needs to figure out how to bring me up in the mix. With a miked amp, no way I should have problem matching output of the other guitarists Helix.
