Call to arms: Where are all the Ultra/Std users?

Still using my Ultra. I've been tempted by a II for some time now but funds aren't permitting at the moment, plus my Ultra still sounds great and I'm always happy with the tones I get out of it. I gig it regularly, direct to FOH and it never lets me down.

Got my Matrix CFR-12's

Love the CFR12, so transparent, rich and very very loud! I have actually used one as a complete backline at a gig when I couldn't go front of house and it nearly blew the place apart! Hope you have fun with them.

Agree with everyone above. All Matrix stuff is lightweight, feels great and is well suited to the Axe.

What is your Power amp of choice for use with the Axe FX II?

I use a Matrix GT1000FX with my Ultra and intend to use it when I get my Axe II. It's very transparent, feels nice and is very, very loud :)

MATRIX NL12 (Neo Light) Unboxing Review Video (SOLOAWEEK)

Yes-tried one with a Marshall 20 watt handwired head. Really impressed; nice, tight focused sound with plenty of oomph. In fact, I thought it sounded better than the Marshall 1912 I had been using. I've been really impressed with these cabs so far-they're very versatile and sound awesome...

The 1x12 is definitely loud enough to gig with at a bar in my opinion, I thought there was plenty of headroom there when I tried it.

What is your go-to back up for the axe?

Zoom G2 or Palmer Pocket Amp, both are portable and stay in my gig bag, but dear God I hope it never comes to that.

Best Cab To Audition Amps With?

I usually pick a recommended cab from the wiki page and go from there. However I do find that the Recto cabs work with almost anything for some reason.
