What is your go-to back up for the axe?

I realized my only usable backup is Guitar Rig 4 when I shipped my AxeFxII back for repair. I seriously contemplated buying a second AxeII versus a regular amp head (I still have a mesa 4x12) if not for moving into a new house this summer. So for now it's GR4. I think once I can afford it, it will be another AxeII.

Zoom G2 or Palmer Pocket Amp, both are portable and stay in my gig bag, but dear God I hope it never comes to that.

I plan to use this once I transition to my Axe II set up for gigs.

This is what I use. Small, compact, and I can get a few of my main patches duplicated. You can either set it to turn on and off an effect with the pedal, or switch between 2 patches.

My Ultra. Once I get enough dough to replicate my rack, it'll be another II (or, by then, maybe the II will be backup for a III)

Vox Tonelab SE. It works well enough. It's funny when people look at it- they're much more impressed looking at the Vox- one guy compared it to a control panel on the space station. Looks can be deceiving!
