Nope disagree and my Helix gets same comments. These are now sold with the premise of updates and improvements, no offence but if developers promise, they can’t change the story to you knew what you were buying’ especially when other Fractal products are being updated still

crazy but became second nature on the Ax2 front panel. Volume won’t go to zero. Wah doesn’t wah. Just goes pedal down to instant treble boost! Pedals calibrated. Any pointers. Parameter I’ve missed. Prefer the panel edit of the Ax2 but then. Had five years of it. This seems tougher

Loads of threads on it mate, but I use a QSC K12, meant to be one of the best but very bassy and bottom heavy. But mine is mounted chest height so that could mean something. Good luck mate

Variax thoughts?

I used the Variax 700 electric, battery was a pain until I used it with the HD500 cable meant no batteries needed. Acoustic was great, never did any songs from Deliverance so never used the banjo! Electric not too convinced. The alternate tunings took getting used to. Mine is gathering dust but...

Small FRFR.

QSC K12 light but five years on, still tweaking and taking off loads of bass and boom. Mind you it sits on top of a Marshall stack. Don't know if the floor would take bass and boom off. Light though mate and average size

Thanks to the forum family, I can pretty much work my way around the 2. Ironically played debut gig with long time bro on vocals...who disappeared with the cash! haven't spoken to him since two years ago. Now My other mate has reformed his band. Miles away. I don't drive so literally unplugged...

Sorry RushFan! Just seen this. I'm obsessed by most of his tones altough he lost me in the PRS era. THe soundboard recordings at Tuscon and Black Forest highlight his tone. Shame that when Exit was released his tone was muddy. Don't know if the Countryman played a part..Welcome aboard mate,,ha...

See thats the problem mate, 1 2 3, but watching the tutorial even with the Axe Edit connection the blokes changes loads of parameters, some even random like " set this to 54"? Only reason I understood the 12 setting was that he must mean octave

Cheers bro but had this for nearly 6 years..wah and volume work just fine on all patches..surely I don't have to calibrate again now its all setup. Or do I? If I want to set up whammy. Thought once it was calibrated it was good for life. Thanks though mate

proper grateful for all replies and advice, but I've got the whammy kind of going and asigned to exp 2 instead of my usual wah...trouble seems to be on opening pitch and then selecting whammy..nearly all parameters are editable! I can set volume and wah with my eyes closed! I thought the whammy...

Trawled everywhere but this one is truly rocket science..every tutorial shows set up with EV pedal on Axe Edit..why is it so complicated? Even the edit version shows the bloke leaping from parameter to page to parameter. Ironic but I've got edit I was trying to created on the fly..what about...

Sennheiser HR280 Pro/ QSC K12

I've had QSC K12 for two years and tweaked to hell..still too bassy..mine is perched on top of my Marshall 1936 cab. Don't know if it would sound different on the carpet. Same as you. Sound great and crisp through headphones...
