Superverb! Thanks - I'm using the Fender FR-12. I also send it to the PA, but in this case the PA is positioned past the camera, so you're hearing mostly the FR-12 - admittedly through a camera mic, but that's what I got!

It's an official release now, so probably not that risky, other than making sure your presets haven't changed too drastically, specifically with volume. I've updated and will smash a metaphorical bottle of champagne across the bow of the new firmware in a couple gigs this weekend! 🤘

Tone Shaping - Sharp PEQ Cuts

In my overdriven Fender patches I often have a PEQ block with a narrow cut of somewhere around 2-2.5 kHz as that is the ice-pick widow-maker frequency for me. I haven't tried the multiband compressor on it -that might be an idea to mess with. When mixing I often use a dynamic EQ in that area...

I've only had it out for a handful of gigs, but so far it's probably the best option I've had a chance to use from that perspective. EDIT to add: I'd say the spot they're lacking is in the very low end, which would be a real concern if you are a low-tuned metal guy for instance.

I think you would right click on the block in FM9 edit and select Library>Recall and then choose the block. You may need to copy the block into your Library file location first though. I'm not at the unit currently but if that doesn't work someone else can likely give you a more detailed solution.

Are most of you gigging with your FM9's?

Gigging with mine an no problems so far - the AX8 worked flawlessly for me for years, so hoping for a similar experience with the FM9. I have a good case for it and never gig with beta versions.

Yeah I could use the EV as my second monitor I suppose - I did run them together at home but it didn't blow me away.

yeah I like the idea of having a second cab and maybe running stereo, though not sure how much of that effect will get through to the audience or whether it'd be mostly noticeable to me. Right now I gotta save the $$ though - bein' a musician don't pay for $%# :/

FM9 live Catfish blues using the FM9 into Fender FR-12

I gave some thoughts on it at my first live gig on the other thread here - will have to try it out at a few different places to really get it dialed in, but overall so far I'm quite happy with it. Good amount of volume, and with the tilt-back legs I had no problem hearing myself.
