Bustin`out some tones on the Gibson Explorer...

... before I start modding it! Though it would be cool to make some kind of "review" of the guitar, while its still all stock. Going to get the ol` Het treatment, EMGs, Sperzels, Tonepros, etc, etc.... all blacked out. Probably going to make a video of the transformation too, as well as a new...

In conspiracy with Quorthon... a BATHORY tribute!

A year or so ago, I recorded this Bathory medley which was lots of fun. Thought that would be enough, but here I am wrapping up a whole album full of Bathory covers (with vocals). Probably going to release it on a proper CD too, as well as digital EP a bit later. Anyhoo, thought I`d share...

Hey folks... me and a buddy started this old skool black/death metal project, called it "The Deathlodge". Thought I`d share the first cut with ya`all... sounds pretty good! Was a bit skeptic about introducing "vocals" in my mix, but it worked way beyond what I had wished for... :) Probably...

    Retrowave turned into METAL...

So I got this fetish for retrowave/synthwave music, among the music genres I find most exciting these days. This style of music also translates very well into a more traditional heavy instrumented approach, which makes certain songs easy targets for a metal treatment... I was planning to go...

My never-ending homage to Black Sabbath...

Yeeep, Db... or C# if you prefer to call it that. About the tone, there is not that much to show really, it`s the USA IIC+ amp with a graphic 10 band EQ and a tad of reverb. It`s worth mentioning though, that I`m STILL working on a Axe-Fx with waaaaayy dated firmware (my world is still at 11.5...

My never-ending homage to Black Sabbath...

Thanx guys! :) Well, its pretty basic really. For crunch I use the USA IIC+ amp together with a 10 band EQ, and a little touch of reverb in the end. For leads I use the same amp, but with a different EQ setting and a reverb/delay option.
