Another buyer really happy with Red Sound FRFR speakers

Atomic CLR's to Studio monitors

I can't comment on translating to FOH as I don't do that but my guess might be the FR10 out of the two since the FR12 has more bass response, though its not night and day either. the FR10/12's are more cab like than FRFR. In my case, I'd say the CLR's would translate best to FOH. Others who...

this is precisely why I enjoy playing my guitar through the FR's over my CLRs. That being said I don't adjust anything in my presets for playing through one or the other which is the best part. CLR's still are kick ass though just more clinical and flat which I prefer when playing clean presets...

Oh wow a Montage M8x. you're not messin around! I'd absolutely love one of those but would need to sell a kidney. I've had a number of Yamaha keyboards (Mo8, Moxf8, MM8, currently a MODX+ and also my NI S88 mk2) the Montage has always been on my wish list!!

I'm gonna experiment layering in bass/baritone with the Roland D50 underneath the Piano this week. The D50 just cuz i think it adds a cool texture to those bass notes. Not necessarily going for 100% authentic

Been doing doing more research on this and listening to a lot of online demos going through the presets from Ominisphere and Arturia's Collection V. Both are great from what I'm hearing. I think the edge for more authentic analogue sounds go to Omni. Arturia gives you a plethora of emulations...

I just read this the other day. Funny you mention it. The Tele. I had no idea. Yeah there's def some doubling with his baritone /silhouette bass that he has. I saw a Pete Thorn vid few weeks ago and he recreated that runaround sound doing that pretty much.

probs a dumb question but are you guys using this pedal : gtr>mimiq>axe fx or using the mimiq in an effects loop configuration and just placing those In/Out blocks before 2 separate amps in the grid that each have their own signal path? any panning of these amp blocks also?

I googled what amps they used: Hughes & Kettner Triamp , Peavey XXX and maybe a Rectifier. Vox also for cleans. Maybe one of the recto models in the Axe to get in the ballpark ..something between a Mesa and marshally tone. Not usually the types of amp models I play. I'm sure someone will chime...

Checked out the Yamaha FGP30/50 at the shop today. Very neat devices. The staff were playing with them as they just go them in earlier this week. pads were pretty great...good dynamic range/sensitivity. I'd not use the onboard sounds for any recording but for practicing/jamming. perfectly...

since there doesn't seem to be any/many bugs reported I'm assuming official release will be soon. I'm still on 24.05. I wasn't in any rush to update as I am pretty happy with my presets in 24.05 but its inevitable.

D-Tuna....yay or nah?

I have one on my EBMM Axis. Trem is dive only. It's a little finicky at first to get right but once you do it works great. Very handy for a double locking trem guitar.

I had the BKP Rebel Yells in two different guitars and it's amazeballs. I've thought about taking out my SUHR SSH/SSV from my Charvel Pro mod DK24 and getting the BKP RY's again. The RY's had such an all around pleasant tone. Ballsy, cleaned up great /great midrange and not shrill/icepicky
