Firware update of AxeFxII to 3.04 has caused a frozen unit

Just happened to me too. Wasn't updating or anything, just went out to play after putting some wax in the cover of a squealing pickup, and found a blank screen with all the lights on. :( Darn it! Maybe I should finish my 18w marshall clone so I have something to play when the axe is down...

Axe 2 sound through my Presonus StudioLive board not so good

I have been waiting for this! We use the iPad app to mix our ears, and while we just have two or three people right now, the more start playing with us, the more worried I get that someone will accidentally adjust the main mix. Love using this instead of the Avioms we had with our last church...

I would have to agree with what the other guys said. The difference is probably coming from the speakers. I just played with my axe2 xlr into a studiolive, recorded the service with capture, and it sounds exactly the same coming out as it did going in. Which, minus my less than amazing playing...

+1 I don't have the money right now, but for 300 bucks a piece, if they sound pretty good I will be saving up to get some for use with my axe as well as general purpose monitoring in our band room. Seems like the price is almost too good to be true for a coaxial, baltic birch, powered monitor...

Just ordered one of these for the Axe-Fx II I will be purchasing this week and thought I'd share the deal with you guys in case anyone's looking to buy one. I had a Gator 3u rack bag with my Ultra but the SKB appears to be 3/4 inch longer and so will hopefully fit the Axe-Fx II a little more...

I use phantom power with a 9V AC adapter plugged into the jack on the back of the axe. Just a random wall wart I found in a drawer we have of them. You can use a range of voltages, either AC or DC, just don't go over 9V AC or 12V DC.

I'm using Safari. Apparently it logs me out every 10 minutes or so. Yeah, I realized my mistake. I hit the back button as soon as I saw the login screen, hoping to get back to my message and cmd-c it. Got the login in screen again though, and when I logged in my message was blank. Did it again...

I have one coming in hopefully sometime this week. Will let you know how it works. Seemed easy to program from looking at the manual, but we will see. Was quite a bit cheaper than the MFC-101 as well as being smaller and lighter. Anyway, will post again after I get it.
