Axe FX 2 with wireless

Hi! I'm going to buy a new Axe FX 2 to replace my Ultra, but I've a question: what is the best connection between wireless output (Shure SLX) and Axe input? Is better front input or can I use also the rear input 1 without any changes?

Amp sim requests

+1 I'm a guitar player but it would be nice to have a little more bass stuff...I've tried yesterday a bass-reamp with SVT sim plus 4x10 and 1x15 in parallel and sound awesome, so it would be great have more choice

not so indestructible, the other guitarrist of my band has got one with g-major and after 3 years 2 or 3 switches does not work well

you can buy a R1 used or a Behringer but I don't like FCB' plastic-style switches, I need to feel the "click" of the steel switches :) So you can buy an advance pedalboard http://www.advancetubetech.com/ done here in Italy for a little price (I think near 200€ new for the new model, 100€ used...

Huge Cable Upgrade

I use klotz plus neutrik cables and I'm pretty happy with them, in the future I'll upgrade to george l's because in a little part I think that they will sound better but the 98% of the reason is the easy way to build the cable without soldering, so a pretty fast backup situation for cable pain...

Question about midi "bank up" message

Hi, I manage to buy a MFC controller and set it to song-set mode. I already use laptop on live situation with my band to automatically switch preset on my rig and for the other guitar-player, but I want to know if is possible to send a midi message like a "bank up" so MFC would change from one...

Switching AXE-FX presets from Pro Tools?

With my band we have done this and play live with backing tracks and automatic switch for almost 2 years, we use cubase 5, audio is going on a soundcard w/o midi and we use a edirol usb-midi interface, we have 2 guitar so at least 2 midi tracks. We have created for each guitarrist 1 midi track...

Interesting and useful video!!!

Sweet but now I've a slx system and if I mind to change it I'd buy a Shure UR or more probably a Sennheiser system. Maybe axe fx is not the best choice to comparate wireless vs cable, for this case it would be better a valve head to feel the "sensation" on fingers imho

Just ordered MFC.... question

Thank's but for example: I've the preset #13 set as 2nd switch on song1 and 1st switch on song2 I think that if I'm in song1, PC send PC#13 and MFC goes to second switch, if I'm on song2 MFC goes on 1st switch, but how to automatic switch from song1 to song2? It's like a midi message to tell MFC...
