The new Liquid Foot + Series

Interesting yes. But OMG, the typos and mis-spelled words on that page make me cringe. Is the webmaster in 6th grade? Yeesh...

I'm interested too, but like quonsar said, the grammar and spelling made me stop reading 1/2 way thru :S LOL

Why can't manufacturers just pay someone to proof read stuff before it gets published? I know in my mind it just SCREAMS unprofessionalism when I see things like this, even if the product is amazing :S

A display for each switch, that's cool.

They're bragging about being the first to invent stuff, but the RJM prototype had those switch displays a year ago already, so who's copying who here?

Looks cool, but a big Liquid Foot turn-off for me has been the "what happened to Jeff?" threads. Now I see it's no longer Liquid Foot, it's FAMC. I would have a hard time putting my money into something after knowing how many issues others have had with timely support, and seeing a new company name with such a makeshift website.

From the looks of it, he burned the old website name and the only way to get buisness again was to switch it out to try and attract new customers cause the old website addy was probably pretty tarnished. 90% of people ( including myself ) who purchased one of these units knows it is a great unit but the customer support is really shitty. It takes them forever to get back to you on anything. I sent an PM and it took over 2 monhs to get a reply back and all the reply said is.."ill look into it and get back to you". I still have yet to get news 2 weeks later. Everyone has been bitching about this since day 1. Thats why I got rid of my Liquid Foot Pro. The MFC does everything I need it to do and more. Im sure that the support team at Fractal Audio is also looking into adding some of the features some of you hold so close to your heart. Keep in mind that this is Fractal Audio's first midi controller as well. Wait till the MFC-202 comes out!! LOL

The line 6 m13 had them before RJM and Avid had them before that. people have been requesting the feature for some time.

The company was never called Liquid-Foot? It was called Liquid Audio or something like that. Liquid Foot was their product. It still is as far as I can see.

There's a sneak preview of one that looks like it has little individual displays above each button. Cool.

My mistake, the website was "www.liquid-foot.com." Nevertheless, clearly the company name has changed, and I'd be leary given the past experiences others have shared. That was all I was trying to say.

They look cool but I would be worried about the screens. First time you step down wrong, crack there goes the screen. Or whoops I spilled something, the whole unit is dead. With switches only, you at least get some "sealing". Im more interested in the price than anything. I thought the Liquid Foot Pro was overpriced. I can only imagine how much the new guy will be :(

I don't know why but I still prefer the pic of the LF jr. 8)

It's apparently one of those optical illusions that plays on the cones in your eyes... if you stare at the image long enough, then the LFJr appears. Pretty neat. lol

At any rate, depending on the price point, while I love my LFJr, I think I could use one of the new ones.

If you stare at your inbox long enough, you may eventually get a response from them too.
