Axe-Fx III Firmware 31.00 Release

For some reason, the auto-alignment consistently provides a more balanced tone, as if it filters some annoying high-end frequencies and smooths the tones in a very pleasant way.
Just checking... you mean you are still happy with what you already had, since auto alignment was the prior behavior. ;) (i'm curious what my findings will be)

The new metronome switch is not modifier assignable yet. You could add it to the perform pages, but it's probably just as easy to hit the tempo button once and turn it on/off there. The MIDI/Remote menu is the only way to remotely control it so far.
Yeah, you are probably right. Front panel is probably just as easy. Thanks everyone.

thx Cliff for that Metronome switch.

It doesn't work as I thought: Is there a way to generate a CC with FC12 via CS?

Otherwise I will build a small HardwareSwitch for the Pedaljack on FC12.

Thank again!

Edit: never mind. I did a before and after the update and all amp blocks across the presets were updated automatically. Another great update. Thank you 😊

I can't thank you guys enough for all the hard work you do for the AXE. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this community. There is nothing out there that even come close to your product. And the updates are just crazy improvements. So, in short..THANKS

It's already in there and has been for years. It's actually from York Audio's personal cab so it pairs perfectly with his Mesa 2x12 IR pack.

I think it’s the 2x12 compact if I am not mistaken.

2x12 Recto — compact MESA Rectifier cabinet with two 12" speakers.

Internal MIDI messages are only sent to the physical MIDI Out port. You'll need to use a MIDI cable between the IN and OUT ports for the Axe III to receive its own CS MIDI and MIDI block messages.

Keep in mind that using a MIDI loop back can sometimes mess with other things like the editors.

Here's an example of how I dial in the Cab block.

Thanks for sharing.

I’d love to have a dedicated PEQ tab within the Cab block. Sure we could just add a PEQ in the signal chain, but an all inclusive block would allow for saving and sharing custom Cab recipes(which are even more powerful now) as well as easily saving them to our Libraries.

Gives encouraging elbow nudge 🤓
