What he said was "going forward"...

The editor doesn't control the default settings on the hardware.

I understand that.. but what Cliff said was this:

It's in the Mix page on the hardware. Axe-Edit will need to be updated but the engineers don't work on weekends.

so I took that to mean that the Auto-Align On/Off switch would make it's way into Axe-Edit III eventually

I just got to try the Auto Delay for the first time. This is exactly what I've been wishing for since DynaCabs were introduced. It makes it so intuitive to deal with just two parameters at once with the trackpad on my laptop, position and distance, and for distance to include the delay normalized to the first mic. This is even better than the real world because you get the normalization with the first mic but the real relationship with the second mic, you don't have to touch the align page if you don't want, and it takes about half a second to get a character filled toned that also is not harsh. I freaking love it.

Thank you once again. I am curious Cliff what made you want to introduce this now, but whatever made you decide, I'm grateful you did. It makes tone setting that much faster and more awesome. Now that I'm in cab / mic heaven, I can start messing with the amps to feel the difference in the latest algorithm. I'm dialing in my tones from scratch, and it's fun as hell.

Probably. :)

Depends on how you define "a lot." Either way, the number in nonzero. If you've never heard of any third-party Dyna-Cabs, then yes, you missed it. :)
Is there a listing anywhere of all of them, or at least of the the makers?

(Personally I'm not that interested in using them due to workflow considerations, but I'm curious.)

Hello everyone. I've been building a complete cab library for several months now, with realistic cab names. I also use the "global block" function in "dynacab" mode to link a global block to several presets. Apparently, the cab names/numbers linked to my old libraries are no longer correct, and some cab names in slots cab1 and 2 (using the global block linked function) are incorrect too.
I don't know if you're experiencing this as well, and if it could be due to the latest firmware updates?
