What guitar are you playing today?

I custom ordered this from Warmoth, and put it together myself.
Tele body, Gibson scale length and 12" radius. LP toggle switch on a angle for the most room for my hand.
Custom drilled control plate to my liking.

The Les Paul toggle is one of my favorite Tele mods.

Brandnew Gibson Customshop LP Access just arrived! Fell in love with that slim thin Lilly immediately. The Custombuckers sound like heaven, and I love the all black minimalistic looks. Plus, it is not heavier than a Stratocaster.

Technically it’s not a guitar, but most audience members seem to think it is!



Airport security (we just did weekend fly dates to Edmonton/Calgary …) also had a lot of questions about it …. apparently batteries, coils, and wires set off some alarm bells on the scanners

Yes, apart from the Axcess model, which brings light weight, body contouring, better acess and a prs-copy of the headstock improvement, that's what I wanted for candy: All black and minimalized hardware. I can't even tell of it is brushed nickel. Could also be brushed graphite, dark chrome or blackened steel I guess. They don't even tell me. My request to Customshop was just "all black hardware".

Actually they are and are supposed to be (quite) black.
