What guitar are you playing today?

Great thread, I love seeing all the guitars! So in 2018 I bought a PRS wood library, brazilian 594. In 2023 I was going thru some financial hardships and had to sell it. Prices had gone up considerably from when I bought it so I made a decent profit. Hated to see it go and had deep regret for doing so. A few short weeks ago I had a dream about the guitar and was awake the rest of the night. When I got up, I went on Reverb and searched PRS 594 wood library and there was my guitar listed! It had been for sale for 3 months so I contacted the buyer and told him my story. We were able to make an amazing deal (for me). Got her back in exactly the same condition. It was like it was never played after me. It's all I've been playing since and I'm so grateful. Here she is...

Your story is very similar to how I re-acquired my 1998 PRS Goldtop in 2019 that I foolishly traded away in 2012. It’s the only guitar that I ever bought twice!

Reunited - that's great!

Broke out my all time favorite, 1974 Alpine White LP Custom. Real-deal Bill Lawrence L500XL & R pickups and all black hardware. She weighs in at a stout 11lbs. I still have the original pickips and gold hardware. I know a lot of people don’t care for the Norlin era LPs, but this is the best feeling and sounding guitar I have ever played, a real rock-machine. I gigged it for a solid 15 years with no backup, never let me down. It’s semi-retired as my 2012 LP ‘Signature T’ is a much more back friendly 9-1/2lbs and is my current #1.

The Sig T:

And of course the obligatory Strat:

Great story; beautiful guitar!

Did you have some sort of alternate saddles in the strat before? Or just worn out? What were you hearing that made you do the swap?
Stock saddles before. Ive been rotating guitars a lot lately but the note didnt sound full, for lack of a better term. As if the sustain from initial attack never made it to the string.

You replaced the stock saddles, with what?
Those look stock, i think?

Pulled out my Strat for first time in maybe 8 months. \To my surprise it was still mostly in tune...just off a few cents on each string. strings are old feeling...def need to change the set and reminded I have not yet finished installing my 2 pickups to match the Kinman Impersonator E69 in the bridge. have the two still in package to finish the complete set. I pulled this out today to try out the new Supro and Burgs latest preset
