What guitar are you playing today?

I'm guessing it has a 25.5" scale?
Correct! It seems to be an even cheaper variant of the Nighthawk guitar. It also has "pencil neck", i.e., a 41mm nut instead of the usual 43mm. I actually didn't really notice that. It came from Guitar Center (online purchase) in pretty ratty condition, with locking tuners and EMG pickups and a different bridge. I restored it in the spirit of the original specs, with traditional tuners (albeit Wilkinson), and regular humbuckers (albeit SD '59s). It actually plays pretty well, not unhappy about the purchase.

Beautiful. I picked up the "John Lennon" model in Guitar Center once and was shocked at how tiny the neck was. Is yours the same?
No. The “John Lennon” 325 has a short scale neck at about 21 inches. The 360 has a full scale neck at 24.75 inches

I do have a 325V59 as well. It’s a different beast from the 360 models while still being a Rickenbacker.

Today I pickup this beauty! R9 Historic (2018) in a Royal Teaburst VOS finish
It weights aprox. 8.5lbs (or 3.86kg) and love that vintage sound of the pickups.
The neck its very confortable. I traded in a Gibson std 60s (2023) as part of the payment (that guitar sounded great too, but it was a bit heavy. About 9.7 lbs).

I like the finish in the metallic parts, like rusted

My American Professional Classic Telecaster is finally finished. I sourced the the body and neck from Statosphere on Reverb. I was lucky enough to be able to reunite the guitar’s original body with its original neck. It helped that Stratosphere sent the COA when I purchased the body so I knew the serial number. I searched their Reverb inventory and was able to find its matching neck. All of the other parts are genuine Fender parts.

Did I save any money? The answer to that question is a resounding “Hell, No”, but I had fun putting it back together like it originally came from the factory. Besides it looks pretty cool and it plays nice. I love the dark rosewood fretboard.

This...

Did you strip it, or is it naturally natural?
It’s not been stripped. The color is TV Yellow.

In 2022, the year this guitar was made, the TV Yellow finishes were applied so that more of the mahogany’s grain showed because there was some sentiment among some customers that the TV Yellow finish they were using prior to that was too opaque and did not look lIke what a vintage TV Yellow was supposed look. As a result of that change the TV Yellow came out looking a like more greenish because of the highly grained wood used.

Really nice wood, what is that? And I really like the stand, what is it? Nice, I can only imagine the tone.
Hey TR - Torrified spruce top, rosewood bridge, Hawaiian koa backs and sides - amazing tone and resonance, I like the new design with a longer tenon neck, lots of projection and dynamics - I traded up another special guitar and must have tried 20 different guitars, this one really stood out - and it records especially well, which is one of the reasons I traded up and ended up with this - I got lucky, hard to find "the one" :) The stand is a Hercules - very secure and a snap to set up/fold up.
