Got to listen to SIGUR ROS while traveling through Iceland this past winter. That was pretty cool!

Never heard of these guys before this, but really like them. The Edge is another great song of theirs. Too bad they have such a limited catalog (3 songs) unless that’s all they have for streaming. Didn’t look further.

They are fairly new, but more should come.

The Indie music scene in Iceland is thriving and cool.

The Indie music scene in Iceland is thriving and cool.

We were hanging out at this place in Reykjavik called Le Cock that had a rotating set of bands through every evening and the variety and musicianship was top notch. I'd go back and just hang out in that city and bar for a few nights again.

I’ve always loved this Hendrix song. This cover is nice. The guitar tone is pretty much what mine is. Gainy with clarity not too heavy.
