I saw this tour and I marveled at how "glam" Gene's make-up looked, haha. A far cry from, "The Demon."

I'm not a big SRV fan, but this guy is the real deal. He lives here in the Dallas area and frequently plays around the Metroplex. I saw him about 10 years ago at the now defunct (and sorely missed), "Rock 101" in Little Elm, TX and I was floored with his performance. If you close your eyes and listen, you can't tell the difference between him and SRV.
