Violin/Cello preset with 4 Awesome free IRs ( and a sloppy Rush cover)

I try to use it but It dosnt work for me, I have a FM3 Update Firmware 7 and try ti use it but dont have sound on the preset :( I need the violin

You likely need to load the IRs into the cab block. 🙂

Use the CAB Manager in the Editor to import the IRs (.wav)

Fractal technology is all new to me. What I don't understand is after downloading and importing the patch, I don't get any audio (though I see input). I take note that the cab has no profile attached, so IR's are required for the Cabinet in a patch to work (or bypass the cab).
How are the suggested IR's (wav files) used as IR's? Cab Lab 3 is no longer available on the Fractal site... so I have to wait for Cab Lab 4!
I assume Cab Lab will convert the wav file to a cab syx file? In the meantime, I will borrow a cab profile from another patch.

This thread arrived at the most opportune time. My band goes out in 3 1/2 weeks and we just added a song and my singer wanted a cello vibe like the original recording. Copied the synth the block and brought it into my kitchen sink and added the cab IRs. Took a while and still playing with placements of the the synth compressor and volume block but so far so good. will take some time till i settle on block placements, and will also try diatonic pitch block for possible 3rds. Thanks so much for this thread!
 
hello please I would like to understand what i am doing wrong with the CAB files, because when i load files that are WAV, even if i change the format to SYX Fm9 it does not recognise them
 
It's not how you convert them, you need cab lab for that. But you can proceed differently if you have an IR in .wav format, just drag it to the cab block, in the editor, the place where you chose the cab number
