yeah, i've been using it that long, too. such a great match with single coils and a clean amp.

A fine example is scene 2 of the factory preset Shiva On The Rocks.

Alembic pre is basically a Twin with higher quality components i think.

Dude...this pedal LOVES Dual Rectifiers and Boogies. After going for a "Load" ish kinda tone, came upon this gem after not quite liking the t808 or SD1 in front. Boost the level, treble at 5 or 6, and roll back the bass knob. Set the gain anywhere from 2.1 to 2.5. SUPER fun rig that is. Gain knob is super sensitive. Just bumping it up a single notch will take you from dad rock to thrash.

Alembic Preamp amp sim

We basically already have the alembic pre, just select one of the various fender amps with the same preamp/tonestack and turn power amp off.

I use this (placed before amp block) which is not far off from stock for the "Classic Vibe" type (bumped a bit on Rate/Level/Mix).

One of the beautiful things that's been happening in the Axefx evolution is that pretty much stock settings just seem to work more and more often.
