What's Guitar World magazine beef with Fractal?
Not even mentioned in the article about NDSP mini launch. Line6 is mentioned. Seriously? That's journalism? Are they being paid to keep Fractal out of such releases or it's "personal" for this Matt Owen guy?

Not just GW. It’s everywhere

I want a shape-shifting frying pan, that can double as a wok, griddle, contact grill and...

A waffle iron.

It could go from circular to oblong (for fish or looong bratwurst)

We don't sell through distributors and rarely advertise directly in guitar mags so...

The only way to win the game is to not play.

Fractal has always done things their own way, and relied on the strength of the product itself to drive their business. And the only way that works is when the product itself is good enough to sustain the business solely through word of mouth with minimal advertising.

Results speak for themselves.

I always think about products and marketing this way; if you make a good product, you don’t need to spend money/time for big marketing campaigns, the product will sell “itself”.

I support your statement. The concept of the Axe Fx is really bulletproof and their demonstrated dedication to utmost quality is still the reason why I keep on using their products.

All their competitors rely on traditional distribution channels, who also have a strong interest in pushing sales. That leads to an overwhelming amount of financially dependent content creators advertising their products. And that’s a pretty flawed situation.

I did eventually order a competitor’s product due to the continuing online praising, but once I started working with it, I immediately knew why I initially ordered the Axe Fx II and III as my main device.
