New Fractal product coming!!

Would love to see a digital mixer. Something to compete with the Behringer X32 Rack.
The sound quality of the Reverbs between Fractal and Behringer is ridiculous. The world needs Fractal quality effects in a pro-sumer mixer.
I would be good with that as long as I had some assignable knobs and buttons for other than normal mixing maybe combined mixer control surface. Or bring out both!

And how many people responded to a few replies I made about it, along the lines of "It will never happen. The FX8 didn't do well."?

Seriously though, I just picked up an FM9 (after having gotten scammed on here recently...). C'mon man! This always seems to happen... lol

But, I really do prefer the streamlined design of the FX8, specifically purposed for 4 or 7cm. It's a brilliant device, the best multi-effect pedal out there. Yes, I have an HX FX, but I use it less than the FX8.

So, if this becomes the case, I'll hop on the waitlist early. Be on the lookout for some nice used other devices...
Apparently, I'm wrong... :-(

I would love to see an updated X-Load with DynaCabs, I'd buy it day one as I see flaws in both the Suhr and Two Notes units.

However, looking at the market with small amp in a box units like the Tonex, Kemper Player, Mooer Preamp X, Friedman IR-X, etc., I'm thinking it's going to be a Tonex rival. Maybe we'll see the Fractal amps in it, or maybe it's going to have tone capture ability. But if I had to bet on a device, it would be something like this as opposed to an effects unit.
What are the flaws with the Suhr?

I'd like to see an X-Load with Dynacabs also, and I'd REALLY like for it to be in a rack mount format. That's my only complaint with my Suhr RLIR

Why not just use an Axe/Fx with a good mixer?

Seriously doubt fractal gets into the mixer business. It’s not going to be that or a different format of their current modelers. None of that makes sense.

Is it possible this may be an axfx plugin for logic or pro tools etc? That would be cool then I could have my axe the plugin axe and be part way to more crazy tones and stereo hexaphonic etc!

Or a move into a fractal modeled mic system? I rather mix the small condenser mics with the original zen tour. Not withstanding my terrible playing.

A competitively priced Fractal Native type plugin would nuke the plugin market. But I find it unlikely, as much as I’d love it. Plugins are so great for writing or portable practice, and it would open up a whole new market of bedroom players.

While waffles and a talent knob make the most sense to me, I'd love to see a load box with Dynacabs that is capable of expansion as more dynacabs are measured and released. Right now I run the line out from my JP2C back into the Axe-FX for cab sims, but I think it would sound more natural off the speaker tap with a loadbox.

Even without Dynacabs I'd still be happy with regular IRs and using the Dynacabs in Cablab to create my mixes, as that has been working well for me.

I must be in the minority. As soon as I plug into a computer I lose all creativity. There is something about a physical hardware device plugged to a big ass speaker in the room. (Whether FRFR or actual speaker/cab)

Yeah, I think in general most people are more inspired with a better tone. But most people (myself included) don't live somewhere where they can freely play loudly, and many can't afford $1000+ modelers, amps or speakers. Fractal has a very high barrier to entry cost, and most guitarists are at the budget-tier level, so I could hypothetically see them wanting to open up to that part of the market.

A small footprint limited to a few amp cabs pedal. Ala iridium. Capable of using headphones with.

The Behringer X32 is the bestselling mixer worldwide.
A fractal version would crush it in sound quality and it's a way bigger market than guitar modelers.
Just saying - it's not a stretch to take the Axe 3 engine and add a bunch of preamps to make it a better mixer than the X32.
Sound engineers around the globe wrestle with the fact that the X32 has permeated the market the way it has....just because it's a Behringer product. They are embarrassed to love it.
I believe people would love to abandon Behringer for a higher quality product.

Time will tell....
