Could it not be possible to have kept Joe's amps and the production models as well if they were quite different I can see value in that? And more is always more!!
Great song! I don't think there's anyone else who could have pulled that song off vocally as well as Rob Thomas did.Rob Thomas and Santana like this
Wow. I downloaded and tried. Gapless is truly that. Amazing. This from a guy who never really cared. I see what the fuss is about.
Actually as an FM9 owner I think the FM3 guys will benefit the most with this if possible FM9 already can do a 2 amp switch gapless but the FM3 guys cannotWe need it desperately for the FM-9
Maybe this:I could totally be missing something. Is anybody else getting a small burst of sound when switching scenes or channels? I’m just trying to go from a scene w delay bypassed vs. on and getting a quick boost of signal.
So I have tried the new beta and I have an issue using the Synth blocks with the gapless configuration. I have two presets use the Synth blocks much like a Taurus Pedal. Each scene changes a channel on one of the synth blocks. While there was a slight latency or gap there was no abrupt hickup and the transition was smooth to the ear. With the gapless configuration there is now a very apparent bump to the sound of the synth blocks. There is nothing else changing in the scenes, just the synth blocks. This preset is a takeoff of one of the factory presets, "Fremen's Drones of Arrakis". I am attaching the syx file so you can test.https://www.fractalaudio.com/downlo...xe-fx-3/23p0/axefxiii_dsp_rel_23p00_beta1.zip

23.00
Improved Amp block triode algorithm.

Added Smoothing parameter to Cabinet block in Dyna-Cab mode.
Preset, Scene and Channel changes are now gapless.
NOTE: Seamless switching is currently not implemented on the USB and SPDIF/AES outputs due to a "programming oversight"
With the gapless configuration there is now a very apparent bump to the sound of the synth blocks.

Yep that pretty well nails it. I reverted back to 22.01 for now. 23.00 beta is just not usable as it is, for me.
Yes. People were complaining. Joe himself said the production amps don't sound like his amp but people complain and we address the complaints.
ever tried cameron ccv ? it smokes that marshall, IMHO.Please, please, please leave Joe's amp in the AFXIII. That's my favorite amp in the whole unit!
I have not spent enough time with this amp, but I am going to give it an extensive playthrough based on this suggestion.ever tried cameron ccv ? it smokes that marshall, IMHO.
