That amp has not been updated/verified yet. It is among the handful left.

The handful left are all very heavy amps (as in heavy weight). I still have to do that amp and the Uberschall. I think the Herbert was done before the last beta.

I don't know what it is with German amp builders. They seem to be in a contest as who can build an amp that is sure to cause a hernia or ruptured disc.

Fun fact: the German amp companies bought heavy-amp technology from Peavey before they wrapped up all their USA production capabilities

No changes in gain or output noticed by me on the band commander model. It's the only Fender model I use regularly enough that I feel I'd notice.

With what have you compared this?
For my part, I find that just the Fender and Vox amps have lost in the sensitivity of the play of the strings compared to Beta 2
thats simple as I have all the presets from each fenders set to clean/crunch/lead , and all my crunch scene are now clean :)

also the fender's got way less gain :

5f1 tweed
6GAsuper
6g12
deluxe verb normal
doubleverb normal
siverface
jrblues
superverb
tremololux
vibraking
vibratolux
vibratoverb

they were all set to have a crunchy tone and now they are completely clean, and the clean tone is also very low now . Well all the fenders should be retweaked . dont know if it s normal or if it will change in the final release
I own an entire line of Fender tube amps. When comparing to my AXE Fenders, they are scary close. What guitar and what input gain are you using? I'm using an American Standard and PRS custom 22. The Fender strat is spot on, the PRS with HFS pickups is a little more harsh. Also since only some of your preset settings, have you reset the amp?

You turned Power Amp modeling off in your Global Settings.

No it is turned on

I have changed guitar to see, there is a little bit of crunch but I was remembering that I had more gain than that . well I will pump them, thank you

I test with the freshly loaded factory preset 001 to 100 with the updated new parameter values that have been added. Everything else is not representative for me, because so only something is comparable.

There were no changes to the modeling algorithms or any of the Fender or Vox models between beta 2 and the current beta.
Thanks Cliff, I don't want this to be a criticism or a bug of Beta4 either, but my personal impression. You can only judge what sounds right or wrong against your references.

I don't know what to tell you. There were no changes to the algorithms or the Fender or Vox models. I have the files right here and doing a diff shows no changes.

[EDIT] I should mention that I reduced the speaker drive by 50%. So to get the same amount of speaker drive as before you will need to double the value, i.e., if you had speaker drive set to 2.00 you will need to set it to 4.00 to get the same amount of speaker breakup.

That would explain why i find things a bit more edgy than before, gotta double that up as soon as i am home

Is this the case for all Amps with regards to the Value of the Speaker Drive?

Not sure if others share this same approach, but I've gone back to re-visiting the factory presets as a first step. It's like playing with it for the first time again- Playing for hours and only getting through 3 presets! (I LOVE the CA3+, #33, scene 3!)
I did the same thing, since I switched to a Matrix GT-1000 and EV monitors. So far he only thing I do is low cut and hi cut. They all sound too perfect.
