they'd have him fix the accident pretty quickly.@FractalAudio
If they sue you, say it's meant for one note at a time.
It just so happens to work for more than one note, but that's an accident.
Depends on what the parent actually protects. Are there any other polyphonic tuners anywhere?Patented like all the amps and pedals and other things that are modeled are patented?
If it's patent US8334449B2, I would think that's sufficiently tied to the hardware that it can't just cover every tuner that detects (and shows) more than one note at a time... If it covers the actual results of the product rather than the product itself, then it's no different to modeling an amp.
In fact it's probably even further than that, because you wouldn't "model" the Polytune, you'd be producing your own software entirely.
Digitech used to make one. Peterson might also make one according to Wikipedia.Depends on what the parent actually protects. Are there any other polyphonic tuners anywhere?
I didn't know that!In the meantime, anyone looking for a very cool software poly tuner , then check out Midi Guitar 2 by www.jamorigin.com. , one its its many useful features.....
ive had less success with the IOS version and it is much less featured ,so I don't really remember....maybe not...I didn't know that!
Is it in the iOS app, too?
