In Axe Edit, the new Optical mode shares the same UI as Studio. I'm assuming that this will change with an Axe Edit update? I like what I hear.

Sweet. I'm psyched to try out the new features. And another thanks for keeping the Mk1 users in the upgrade cycle!!

And here the AFX guys were complaining that the AX8 got the 7.01 beta and the new compressors first... but now they get the full release first!! ;-)

What is the difference with FAS Boost, regarding design / virtual components?

Thank you Fractal! One problem occurred for me.

It was almost finished installing the firmware, then I got an error, and the screen on my MK2 now says:


Rev: Quantum 6.03.1 Jan 5 2017 Press <ENTER> to begin manual update.


Should I press enter? It did not ask me to turn my unit off and on again. Is this how the new firmwares will be installed?

no. this happens occasionally. just run it again as normal. don't press enter.
