    Distortion-to-clean scene spillover?

It depends on the amps used in the preset. Some have changed a lot over time and others not as much. I could probably bring it up to FW 14 without too much effort but I generally like to look forward and create new tones rather than updating old ones. That's because I basically record songs...

Using Loop as sampler, anyway to do this?

The hooks are theoretically in place to do this. So it's something we can consider. However, the main issue though is there's no non-volatile memory available in which to "store" the sample if power is turned off. So it would only work if you turn the unit on, load the sample via Fractal Bot...

Looper block noise still in FW14

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue yet. It should be noted that you are using Overdub in a very unique manner and nobody else has reported these sorts of problems. Metallica using Axe Fx's on stage!

All bands care about how much it costs to ship around gear. It is true that bigger bands have more revenue. But they also have much higher expenses. James and Kirk the guitar players don't have to worry about schlepping gear. Metallica as a business entity does however. That's why Axe-FX II...

They are actually 4x12 iso cabs. The shipping cases are behemoths. Both James and Kirk had two each. Not having to lug those around was one of many appealing aspects of switching to the AxeFX II for these guys. He still has 4 on stage 4x12 cabs for stage feel and feedback. Powered By Matrix...

I asked my dog if he could hear the difference between Axe-FX II and a real amp

Yes, some noise is normal. It will vary a bit depending upon pickups used and your environment. Try turning the monitor off, lights off, moving around, etc to determine what's causing it.

I suspect your input level into the CLR is too low. You probably have a lot more headroom left than you think.

Glad you dig the preset. Noise isn't too much of an issue for me on lead presets. If it becomes problematic during the mix I'll just go in and mute the waveform during the parts in between the notes that are troublesome. I generally keep the noise gate off entirely when recording. Especially...

Thanks! The clean chimey guitar in the beginning was actually my G&L Legacy in pickup position #2. The PRS 408 you see in the video has a nice coil split tone but the Legacy just has fantastic vintage style single coil pickups for that type of classic bridge/middle strat sound. The drums...

    Hitting multiple IA buttons

    Looper block upgraded? Love it!

Per your interpretation of the quantize mode is correct. I'll look into the clicking that you're experiencing. There definitely is some cross-fading already programmed into the code to minimize clicks and pops. Maybe a slightly longer duration would work better. Thanks for your feedback.
  43. A

    Looper block upgraded? Love it!

Hmmm, maybe try adding a bit of damping to the modifier that is controlling Dub Mix? I think the sharp gain change when that parameter gets changed remotely is causing the discontinuity and resulting in the click. Normally this isn't an issue because most people just "set it and forget it".
