XL+ Onboard Backup ROM?

Does the XL+ allow you to backup preset banks? The (outdated) manual has no mention of this for the XL+

All the presets are already stored in flash memory, so there's no requirement for backing up. If you want though you can back up a bank into another bank for safety. I copied my user bank A into bank F even though there really isn't any need to.

You can backup system settings internally, not presets or cabs. Those have to be backed up to a computer using Fractal Bot.

Yes. The MKI and MKII Axe II's had slower secondary flash memory that was used for backing things up. The XL and XL+ have faster flash memory that is used for primary storage, so no backup is needed. You should still back your presets and cabs up to a computer via fractal bot to safeguard against catastrophic failure or damage.
