Who uses just 1 Cabinet IR?

Only 1 IR, but I use two instances of it so that I can pan them left and right, and stagger them on the align page.

If your doing stereo, it gives you a widening effect…subtle but really nice. I leave one at 0 distance and then turn the other distance
knob up until I hit the sweet spot.

I find I always hear at least a little comb filtering (and sometimes a lot) if I use more than one ir, even after aligning them.

Are you running stereo live? Seems like you may run into phase issues if collapsed down to mono. I always align a stereo cab to avoid that live. Just curious.

No, I’m running stereo out of my studio monitors.

I use a single IR that I've generated using a IR generator/synthesizer program with fantastic results. I've been thinking of slightly tweaking it for use on clean/mild overdrive tones but have no real urgency to do so. I particularly like this IR since it has no phasing artifacts which I find objectionable, and is voiced similarly to the stock Fractal TV 4x12 cabinet.

yes me too. I typically avoid this approach. I prefer to just double track if I want 2 different sounds and either pick a different IR or EQ different.

Usually one if I'm doing rhythm guitar for panning/multiple takes, but if I want a "roomier" sound I use 3 IRs (2 close mics and a room), align the room so. Volume on the "room" mic is usually at leat -6 db (often -12).

I’ll mostly only use one IR per preset. I use the York Audio packs, 95% of the time mix 1 (SM57 with a 121). Works great for me.

Use 1 IR for the moment as I still need a better understanding of the application. Got the Ownhammer Moabi pack and found a mix that works for me. I may sometimes choose a different mix but I pretty much stick with this IR.

It’s one less thing to worry about

Those are a good set of IRs, a nice woody sound. I usually have one IR mix from the same pack or from the Ownhammer revolution pack.

It is Marshall MODE 4.

I tend to gravitate toward a 57 (or 58) and a ribbon (160, 121, etc.) mixed in 4 - 7 dB below it to fill in the lows a bit. To save CPU, I pre-mix them in Cab Lab....

I use the same IR with different mics and different high low cuts, I play with real cabs on stage (pre IR) and try to just match the sound of those as closely as possible so the audience is hearing a slightly upgraded version of my stage sound

For my combo sounds it's usually one cab, for amp/stack sounds I tend to blend a couple.

I use the same two for everything. Celestion G12 - 65 and EVH.
Those Celestion IRs are quite enjoyable.

Which is the difference next to other irs? I mean the celestion ir are refered to the speaker not to a specific cab.. So what may change? Expecially in the cab block parameters? Thanks
