What is that one piece of gear you wish you never sold?

I had a 70's lawsuit-era Ibanez SG double neck in the early 80's before they became a big name. I just thought it was some Gibson knock-off and sold it because it was big and heavy. It wasn't until I was recently looking through an old photo album that I realized what i had.

I passed on a lawsuit Explorer in the early '80s for $400. Looked just like a '50s Gibbo, played great, but I just had to have that Elite Strat boat anchor.... :(

I had a Les Paul Axcess that I sold, and really regret. Not even sure why I sold it. One of those times where I just wanted to make some space and wasn't thinking clear. Anyway, I weep when I check prices now, as I got like half that amount for mine.
Hmmm...How does an Axcess sound compared to a custom - is there a noticeable tone difference or just how it feels getting used to it?

Somewhere in the mid-90's I sold my 1980 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe goldtop. It was a wonderful playing guitar and I could literally play a two-hour show without having to retune. Never had another guitar that would stay in tune that well. Within months after selling it, I was regretting it. (P.S. I was using Fender Silver Bullet strings back at that time...maybe they had something to do with it as well.) I could name off a lot of other guitars I was forced to sell one time when going through a divorce, but since that was to get out of a bad marriage, I didn't have a lot of regrets. ;)

Mine is a modded 1969 Gibson ES-335. It was converted to a stop tail and a third pickup was added. It was a very pro job and the guitar was killer. I picked it up in a pawn shop in Dayton, OH back in the early 80’s. I traded it for a 1970s Les Paul Custom with a maple fretboard neck in the early 90s which, sadly, is also long gone.

I don’t have a picture of it but I do have a mock-up I made. Every now and then I post it on CL hoping that whoever has it will come forward and be willing to sell it.

This time it’s going nowhere.

I think it would have to be my pedal board I built in the early 80's with an MXR flanger, a script logo MXR dynacomp, a BOSS CE-1, an MXR Phase 100, an original Ibanez tube screamer. What was I thinking !!!!
